Platelets 410 x 10^9/L are not normal and have high values.
Platelets are produced by the megakaryocytes of the human bone marrow system, and in general their normal value is between (100-300) x 10^9/L. Different hospitals, different test equipment may produce a slight difference in the normal value of platelets, the maximum value of platelets generally does not exceed 350 × 10 ^ 9 / L. Therefore, platelets 410 × 10 ^ 9 / L is certainly a high value.
High platelet counts are generally categorized into two causes
1. Primary thrombocythemia: the main clinical manifestation of primary thrombocythemia is repeated thrombosis and bleeding. Antiplatelet and anti-thrombotic treatment should be emphasized, and commonly used drugs include low-dose aspirin.
2. Secondary Thrombocythemia: mostly seen in acute and chronic inflammation, autoimmune diseases, acute hemolysis and so on. Need to actively treat the primary disease, the primary disease is controlled, platelets can be reduced to normal levels.
In short, high platelets need to go to the hospital to identify the cause of the disease, targeted treatment. Specific drugs need to be used under the guidance of a doctor.
