There are the following methods of gynecological examination: the first one is the doctor’s examination for abnormalities in the vulva, vagina, and cervix, and a gynecological duplex examination for abnormalities in the uterine adnexa. The second method of examination is laboratory tests, which can be done for routine laboratory tests of white belt and cervical cancer screening. In clinical practice, the main tests are TCT and HPV test to find out whether there are lesions in the cervical epithelium and whether there is high-risk HPV infection. The other examination is ultrasound, which is mainly used to find out whether there are abnormal tumors in the pelvis, whether there is fluid accumulation, whether there are abnormalities in the fallopian tubes and whether there are tumors in the ovaries, all of which can be examined through ultrasound.
