Is blood pressure of 120mmHg/90mmHg considered high blood pressure?

A systolic blood pressure of 120 mmHg is mostly normal and ideal, but a diastolic blood pressure of 90 mmHg has reached the diagnostic criteria for hypertension and is considered hypertensive. This hypertension is dominated by increased diastolic blood pressure, to help find possible factors, commonly in young people, often due to obesity, staying up late, poor lifestyle, and in some cases due to alcohol consumption, little exercise, and mental stress, to help find possible interventions in lifestyle, make life adjustments, and observe for a period of time. If there is no significant change after long-term improvement, medication can be given appropriately to bring down the diastolic blood pressure. A blood pressure of 120/80 mmHg is ideal, and 120/90 mmHg is also considered hypertensive and is observed for a period of time through lifestyle improvement. If there is no significant change through lifestyle intervention, and the diastolic blood pressure still persists at 90mmHg, medication should be given, and ACEI class, ARB class, and beta-blockers can be used to give intervention for the patient’s condition.
