Leukocyte 3.35, is it important?

A white blood cell count of 3.35×10^9/L is mildly depressed, and the condition is usually not serious, but it needs to be further combined with the cause of the disease and analyzed comprehensively.
The normal range of white blood cell count for a normal person is (4~10)×10^9/L. Analyzing the white blood cell count alone, a white blood cell count of 3.35×10^9/L is a mild decrease, at this time, the body’s immune system is not very obvious, so the condition is not very serious.
1. There are many causes of mildly lowered white blood cell counts, which can be categorized into benign and malignant causes. If the mild decrease in white blood cell count is due to benign causes, the condition is not very serious, such as splenomegaly, hypothyroidism, Helicobacter pylori infection, dry syndrome and so on.
2. If the mild leukopenia is caused by malignant etiology, the condition is more serious due to the seriousness of the primary disease, such as hypoproliferative leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and so on.
It is recommended that patients with leukocytes of 3.35×10^9/L should go to the hematology department in time to complete relevant examinations to identify the cause of leukopenia and treat the cause under the guidance of physicians.
