Can high temperatures kill cancer cells?

High temperature can kill cancer cells, and the mechanism of killing cancer cells by high temperature is mainly divided into the following three aspects: i. Damage to cell membrane, high temperature can affect the fluidity of cell membrane of cancer cells and increase the permeability of cell membrane, which will eventually lead to the death of cancer cells. ii. Secondly, high temperature can damage the lysosomes in the cytoplasm, and the digestive enzymes released from the disintegration of lysosomes due to high temperature can cause further damage to the cells, thus leading to the death of cancer cells. Third, high temperature can cause thermal damage to protein, which will make the cancer cells lose the ability to reproduce and thus kill the cancer cells. At present, if the temperature is heated up to 42-43℃ and maintained for a certain period of time, the tumor cells can be destroyed for the purpose of anti-tumor treatment.
