Intraoperative photograph of a metastatic tumor in the motor area of the brain

1, Preoperatively, an enlarged cerebral gyrus with a cloudy surface of soft meninges can be seen. 2, The cortex was stimulated with a bipolar cortical stimulator to induce motor responses. 3, Cortical stimulation of the hand motor area elicits hand movements (white label Hst), and the white arrow refers to the sulcus cerebri on the surface of the tumor. 4, The tumor was completely resected through a transcerebral sulcus approach, and all vascular arteries and veins were preserved. There were no long-term neurologic deficits after surgery.
