How to Treat Meniere’s Syndrome Fast

There is no so-called rapid treatment for Meniere’s syndrome, i.e. Meniere’s disease, and its treatment principles include general treatment, drug treatment, low-pressure pulse therapy, surgical treatment, vestibular rehabilitation therapy, etc.
1. General treatment: bed rest and low-salt diet should be used during the seizure period. Avoid caffeine-containing beverages, cigarettes, alcohol, etc., and avoid exertion. After the symptoms are relieved, it is advisable to get out of bed as soon as possible.
2. Drug treatment:
(1) Symptomatic drug treatment: vestibular nerve inhibitors: such as Dicyclomine and Diphenhydramine, etc., only used during acute attacks. (2) Anticholinergic drugs: such as santalbumin and dongleuria. (iii) Vasodilators and calcium antagonists: e.g. cinnarizine and nimodipine. (iv) Diuretic and dehydrating drugs: commonly used are chlorthalidone and so on.
(2) Middle ear drug treatment: gentamicin and dexamethasone are commonly used. The former achieves the purpose of treating Meniere’s disease through chemical labyrinthine resection.
(3) Low-pressure pulse therapy: commonly used methods include Meniett low-pressure pulse therapy, which can control the symptoms of vertigo for a short or long time.
4. Surgery: Surgery can be considered for those who have frequent attacks of vertigo, long-term conservative treatment is ineffective, and tinnitus and deafness are severe. Surgical methods include cervical sympathetic ganglion procaine closure, endolymphatic sac decompression, chemical vestibular disruption, vestibular nerve amputation, labyrinthectomy and so on.
5. Vestibular rehabilitation: for patients with Meniere’s disease who have undergone chemical or surgical labyrinthectomy.
Patients with Meniere’s disease should not take medication by themselves, but should go to the hospital in time and receive standardized treatment under the doctor’s guidance.
