Is a prothrombin activity of 130 normal?

A prothrombin activity of 130% is not normal.
Plasminogen activity is an indicator of coagulation function, now less clinically used, and its value is the product of the ratio of (normal human prothrombin time -8.7) and (patient prothrombin time -8.7) and 100%. Its normal range is 75% to 100%, depending on factors such as the method of testing, and may be higher than normal in pregnant women.
Prothrombin activity of 130% is on the high side, suggesting hypercoagulability of the blood, which is common in the early stage of disseminated intravascular coagulation, myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, venous sinus thrombosis, deep vein thrombosis, and multiple myeloma, etc. However, the specificity of this index and its accuracy are not as high as those of the test. However, the specificity and sensitivity of this indicator is relatively poor.
It is recommended to actively seek medical attention to clarify the diagnosis and standardize the treatment.
