If an aneurysm ruptures in an extremity, local compression bandages can usually be given to stop the bleeding. If the rupture is still unsuccessful, a tourniquet or bandage can be applied to the proximal limb of the aneurysm to block the blood flow to achieve temporary hemostasis, and then the aneurysm can be resected immediately in preparation for surgery. However, in the case of rupture of some abdominal viscera or even abdominal aortic aneurysm, the bleeding is very violent and can lead to hemorrhagic shock immediately, which can lead to death in severe cases. So in this case, multiple intravenous channels or even deep venous channels should be given immediately for rapid rehydration. Apply for blood transfusion and prepare surgical treatment before surgery.
