Disease: Malignant thymoma staging and staging Description: The family underwent thymoma surgery 3 months ago, the pathology report only wrote “thymic tumor with a large area of necrosis, part of the fibrous interstitium with heterogeneous tumor cells, obvious nuclei, infiltrative growth, combined with clinical, can be consistent with malignant thymoma. There is no stage and staging. I hope to provide help: 1. If I want to know the detailed staging what tests should be done specifically? What tests should be done to know the staging? (The pathology report has been obtained, as mentioned above, without staging and staging). 2. If it is thymic carcinoma, what tests should be done to determine the stage? What tests should be done to know what kind of cancer it belongs to? (I have consulted with doctors in other hospitals, and they said that we should do some kind of immunogenetic test, but I am not sure what it is called.) What are the common classifications of thymic carcinoma? (Some doctors said it is divided into adenocarcinoma and carcinoid tumor, which is not quite the same as what we found on the internet)
