Babies can use Strengthening the Spleen and Eliminating Food Pill, but diabetic children are forbidden to take, infants and young children should be applied under the guidance of a physician.
Strengthening the Spleen and Eliminating Food Pill is composed of Atractylodes macrocephala, Citrus aurantium dulcis, Mucuna pruriens, Myristica fragrans, Fructus officinalis, Betel nut, and water chestnut powder. It has the functions of strengthening the spleen, eliminating food and resolving accumulation. It is used for children’s distension and fullness in the epigastrium (stomach and abdomen), loss of appetite, yellow face and thin skin, and irregular bowel movements (abnormal stools) caused by unhealthy spleen and stomach and stagnation of milk and food.
Adverse effects of this product is not clear, diabetic children are prohibited. Avoid spicy, cold, greasy and indigestible food. Infants and young children should be applied under the supervision of a physician. Children must be used under adult supervision.
