What does intestinal gas mean?

Gas in the intestinal lumen is the phenomenon of excessive intestinal gas and poor exhaustion under the influence of various factors. Intestinal lumen gas can be caused by indigestion, intestinal obstruction, intestinal spasm and other factors.
1. Improper diet: If the patient has recently consumed a large amount of sweet potatoes, soybeans and other soy products, which are easy to produce a large amount of gas in the body, it may lead to an increase in the gas in the intestinal lumen, thus producing the symptoms of intestinal luminal gas. If the patient has poor swallowing habits, he/she may swallow a large amount of air leading to gas accumulation.
2. Gastrointestinal dysfunction: If the patient suffers from intestinal obstruction due to gastrointestinal dysfunction, it may also lead to unsmooth exhaustion, resulting in pneumoperitoneum.
3. Intestinal lesions: If the patient suffers from enteritis, peptic ulcer and other diseases, it may cause the intestinal contents to be retained, and after fermentation, gas will be produced, causing intestinal lumen pneumatosis.
Patients with intestinal gas should go to the hospital in time for examination and receive appropriate treatment after clarifying the causative factors.
