Neonatal hearing test is an otoacoustic emission test for newborns 48-72 hours after birth. Parents should not be careless if the hearing screening test is not passed, but must go to the hospital for rescreening at 42 days. If the re-screening does not pass, a diagnosis will be made within 3 months. In the past ten years of hearing screening, we have found that many parents who pay attention to the newborn hearing impairment has been diagnosed in more than 2 months. However, some parents are a little careless, newborn hearing test does not pass even if they do not care, and then re-screening at the return visit, or even refuse to re-screening. By the age of 1 year and 7 months to find the hearing impairment of young children, parents are very regretful. Now the country advocates hearing impairment must be early detection, early diagnosis, early intervention, so we should pay attention to hearing screening.
