Breast disease is a common disease among women, with about 1.2 million women suffering from breast cancer and 500,000 dying from breast cancer worldwide each year. In developed countries such as Western Europe and North America, the incidence of breast cancer accounts for the first place of female malignant tumors. It is noteworthy that China is one of the countries with the fastest growing incidence of breast cancer. Statistics released by the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association show that the incidence of breast cancer in China is increasing at an annual rate of 3% in recent years, making it the fastest growing cancer in urban areas in terms of mortality rate, and the age of onset is gradually getting younger. In recent years, breast disease is at its peak and the cancer rate is high. According to the latest epidemiological statistics from the Chinese Medicine Breast Disease Prevention and Treatment Research Center, the incidence of female breast cancer has increased by 39% in recent years, and the age of onset has advanced by 10 years, which is gradually becoming younger. For this reason, we encourage more women to take the initiative to care for their breasts and be brave enough to receive early examination, early diagnosis and early treatment. Treatment principles: The breast is an important sexual organ, and its integrity and beauty are important to every woman. However, sometimes the lesion must be surgically removed because of the disease, some patients often avoid treatment because they are worried about post-operative scarring or local morphological changes, and some patients even pay the price of their lives for a short period of perfection. Therefore, surgical treatment of breast diseases is developing in the direction of “minimally invasive – cosmetic – functional treatment”. In actual operation, we select suitable cases, combined with some advanced equipment and operating techniques, the application of some cosmetic techniques, in order to achieve the same treatment effect, as far as possible to achieve a better breast appearance, so that the patient’s psychological and physical rehabilitation to the maximum extent. I. Benign breast diseases 1. Transmermactomy (ultrasound-guided vacuum negative pressure spinotomy) Features: small incision of 3mm, accurate excision positioning with small healing scar and little collateral damage Suitable for: intramammary masses less than 2.5cm in diameter 2. Transareolar incision Features: small healing scar Suitable for: fibroadenoma, lobular tumor, overflowing duct and its affiliated glands excision, partial lobectomy 3. Features: small and hidden incision Suitable: paramastectomy II. Breast malignant diseases Breast cancer is a systemic disease, and simply relying on expanding the scope of surgery does not improve the survival rate of patients. We should establish the new concept of breast cancer as a systemic disease; advocate the standardized and integrated treatment of both local and systemic treatment as the best treatment mode for breast cancer; emphasize that the treatment of breast cancer should be transformed from the “maximum tolerable treatment” to the “minimum effective treatment”. “In the treatment of breast cancer, the group will base on the international and domestic breast cancer treatment guidelines, combine with the patient’s condition, economic and psychological needs, and develop a comprehensive treatment and individualized treatment plan to meet the patient’s situation. We focus on reducing the trauma without compromising the treatment effect. Today, breast surgery has entered an era of minimally invasive surgery and functional preservation, and various new technologies have emerged. In order to meet the needs of the times and to better serve the public, we will carry out the latest technologies that are currently in vogue internationally: fiberoptic ductoscopy, the most advanced tool for the diagnosis of the cause of nipple discharge; Mammotome, the most advanced technology for minimally invasive breast biopsy and treatment, for biopsy of breast lumps and excision of benign tumors; and breast lumpectomy, the latest lumpectomy technology for the treatment of breast cancer. We use breast lumpectomy, the latest lumpectomy technology for breast cancer treatment, to clear the axillary lymph nodes, realizing the unity of radical treatment, minimally invasive and functional preservation; we use the breast oxygen function imaging system, the latest non-invasive examination technology for breast diseases, to conduct breast screening, clinical examination and diagnosis of various breast diseases, especially breast cancer. In the future, we will take minimally invasive, cosmetic and functional treatment as the development direction of breast specialty, and create a breast specialty featuring physiological minimally invasive and psychological minimally invasive while effectively treating diseases. We will always pursue the goal of “curing the disease with minimal trauma and preserving the function with maximum possibility”.
