The so-called soft needles are intravenous indwelling needles, which are commonly used clinically for patients and pediatric patients who need repeated infusions, or for those who have difficulty puncturing peripheral veins, are afraid of pain, and need repeated intravenous injections for resuscitation. In order to reduce the pain and fear caused by venipuncture to patients, nurses are recommended to apply intravenous indwelling needles when giving infusions to patients. In general, an intravenous needle can be kept in use for a week with standardized care, and needs to be replaced in no more than 10 days, in order to prevent infection. If the condition of the vein pierced is poor, it can only be used for 3 to 5 days.
