Small ground glass nodules in the lungs are a form of occupational lesion of the lungs, detected by imaging. In general, the pathological type of this condition needs to be considered benign most often with inflammation, such as bacterial and fungal infections, and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, as well as other idiopathic pulmonary interstitial fibrosis, calcification, and varying degrees of lymph node hyperplasia. In addition, less common are malignant occupying lesions of the lung, that is, malignant tumors, such as those suffering from bronchopulmonary carcinoma and alveolar cell carcinoma. The nature of the nodules can be clarified by taking biopsies of small ground glass-like nodules for pathological examination, and early use of the corresponding treatment plan and regular treatment.
