Maximum side effects of glutathione tablets

Side effects of glutathione tablets are generally minor and may disappear after stopping the medication. Common side effects include allergic reactions such as skin rash, gastrointestinal reactions such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and epigastric pain, as well as low blood pressure, decreased or increased heart rate, and palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic). Glutathione tablets are used as an adjunctive treatment for chronic liver disease, including liver damage caused by viral, drug toxicity, and alcohol toxicity. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to the drug, children under 18 years of age, pregnant and breastfeeding patients. In older patients, the dosage of the drug should be reduced by half, and blood pressure and heart rate should be closely monitored during the administration of the drug. It should also be noted that due to drug interactions, this product should not be mixed with vitamin B12, vitamin K3 menaquinone, calcium pantothenate, orotate, antihistamines, sulfonamides and tetracyclines.
