The causes of vomiting in hypertension are as follows: i. If the vomiting is jet-like and more frequent, there is the possibility of acute cerebral hemorrhage or cerebral infarction, and a cranial CT examination should be done in the hospital. ii. If the vomiting is mild and accompanied by pain in the middle and upper abdomen, there is the possibility of acute gastroenteritis or gastrointestinal dysfunction or indigestion. Third, if vomiting occurs in patients with high blood pressure, there is a possibility of hypertensive encephalopathy, in which a rapid rise in blood pressure leads to a rise in intracranial pressure causing vomiting. Fourth, if high blood pressure causes cardiac insufficiency, it can also lead to insufficient gastrointestinal perfusion and vomiting symptoms.
