What is cornified tuberculosis?

Cornular tuberculosis, also known as hematogenous tuberculosis, is the most dangerous type of pulmonary tuberculosis and is formed when a large number of Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria enter the bloodstream at one time. The lungs appear as corn-like shadows of varying sizes, which may obscure the lung texture due to the large number of shadows, typically presenting as a triple homogeneity phenomenon. The onset of the disease is acute, with high fever, chills, generalized weakness, shortness of breath, and headache, and strong anti-TB treatment should be given promptly. When respiratory failure, persistent high fever and headache appear, hormone therapy is required. With regular treatment, most patients can be rapidly absorbed early on, even without leaving traces. Therefore, early and strong formal treatment is very important.
