Herpetic pain is persistent, accompanied by burning-like sensation, soreness and itching, severe paroxysmal stabbing or burning pain, abnormal sensations such as electric shock-like and ant bite sensations; 2. Pain can continue to occur after the herpes zoster lesions are eliminated, and pain can be induced by milder irritation, sometimes with indirect pain throughout the night; 3. In 10% of patients, the pain can last for more than a month, and if treatment is untimely or inappropriate, pain can continue to occur after the herpes disappears, even for more than a few decades.
