Can you wear corneal reshaping lenses if you have more than 800 degrees?

Above 800 degrees, you can wear corneal reshaping lenses, but you will not achieve the best bare vision. The maximum correction for keratoconus is around 600 diopters. If the patient’s degree is above 800 degrees, he/she can also wear corneal reshaping lenses, but there is no way to achieve the best bare vision, and after wearing them, he/she will retain 200 degrees of nearsightedness. If he/she wants to correct his/her nearsightedness, he/she can wear keratoconus lenses and frames. In addition to wearing keratoconus lenses, patients can also choose other ways to correct their vision, such as optical correction, surgical treatment and so on. Optical correction mainly involves wearing frames or contact lenses, and should be done with regular medical optometry to correct vision. Surgical treatment is for adult patients with stable myopia. Commonly used corrective myopia surgeries include excimer surgery, semi-femtosecond surgery and full femtosecond surgery.
