Shen Wei is located in the ankle area, in the depression between the lower edge of the ankle and the heel bone directly below the tip of the ankle. Shen pulse point belongs to the foot solar bladder meridian, when taking the point, first find the outer ankle (the lateral ankle bone protrusion), the outer ankle directly below the depression that is this point.
Shen pulse point has the effect of activating blood and regulating qi, tranquilizing the mind, and is often used in the treatment of insomnia, headache, vertigo, lumbar and leg pain, coldness of the waist and legs, ankle joint pain, pain and weakness of the lower limbs, and redness and swelling of the eyes.
Shen Wei point is located in the depression directly below the ankle and can be manipulated by acupuncture, massage and moxibustion.
