Instructions for use of ibuprofen tablets

Ibuprofen tablets are over-the-counter antipyretic and analgesic drugs, mainly used to relieve mild to moderate pain, such as headache, joint pain, migraine, toothache, muscle pain, neuralgia, dysmenorrhea, and also for fever caused by common cold and influenza. Its usage and dosage, usually taken with warm boiled water, is 0.5 packet for children aged 4-8 years old for one time; for children aged 8 years old and above and adults for one time, one packet can be used, and if the pain or fever persists, it can be repeated at an interval of 4 hours, and the medicine should not be used more than 4 times in 24 hours. It can also cause some adverse reactions and a few patients may experience nausea, vomiting, heartburn or mild indigestion. It is contraindicated in pregnant and lactating women, and is contraindicated in patients with asthma caused by allergy to aspirin.
