Heavy menstrual flow

If your menstrual flow is incomplete for more than 9 days, it is important to go to the hospital for an examination to rule out the possibility of endometrial lesions. An ultrasound examination is done to find out the condition of the endometrium. If in this case the endometrium is abnormally thickened and the echogenicity is uneven. It is advisable to do diagnostic scraping and send the scraped tissue to pathology for clinical diagnosis. If the ultrasound examination is normal, it is recommended to give appropriate hemostatic medication, such as tranexamic acid, and most of them will improve in about 3 days. It is recommended to keep the vulva clean during vaginal bleeding and to change the sanitary napkin regularly so as to avoid the possibility of reproductive tract infection. It is also recommended not to drink alcohol or take blood-boosting drugs during menstrual dripping.
