Normal body temperature in children varies according to the location of measurement, with axillary temperature of 36~37 degrees, oral temperature of 36.2~37.3 degrees, and anal temperature of 36.5~37.5 degrees being the normal range.
Children’s body temperature is not static, but fluctuates, mainly because children are small and their thermoregulatory function is not yet well developed, and they are easily affected by dressing, eating, activities, and so on, resulting in fluctuations in body temperature.
Children’s temperature measurement location will be different, axillary temperature 36 ~ 37 degrees, oral temperature 36.2 ~ 37.3 degrees, anal temperature 36.5 ~ 37.5 degrees is the normal range, general fluctuations as long as within ± 1 degree are normal, the children’s body temperature will fluctuate, mainly due to the small children’s body temperature regulation function is not yet fully developed, easily affected by clothing, food, activities and so on, resulting in fluctuations.
In the children’s temperature measurement, try to choose the children’s relatively quiet situation, to avoid the children crying when the temperature measurement is easy to lead to inaccurate measurement.
