The full name of Venekra is Venekra Tablets and it is a western medicine.Venekra Tablets are indicated for the treatment of some adult patients with acute myeloid leukemia. It works by inhibiting BCL-2 (an anti-apoptotic protein) and has cytotoxic activity against tumor cells that overexpress BCL-2.

The main ingredient of Venekra Tablets is Venekra, a selective, orally absorbable small molecule inhibitor of BCL-2 with cytotoxic activity against tumor cells overexpressing BCL-2. Clinically, it is mainly used in combination with Azacitidine for the treatment of newly diagnosed adult patients with acute myeloid leukemia who are not suitable for strong induction chemotherapy due to comorbidities or who are 75 years of age and older.

Adverse reactions to Venekra Tablets include nausea, diarrhea, constipation, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, bleeding, peripheral edema, vomiting, and fatigue. Its contraindications are not clear.
