What are the imaging manifestations of cirrhotic nodules

The imaging manifestations of cirrhotic nodules are mainly localized echogenic enhancement as well as obvious hyperdense shadows, which are related to the imaging tests. The most common imaging tests for cirrhotic nodules are ultrasonography and CT. In the case of ultrasonography, there is often significant echogenic enhancement with uneven distribution of echoes and hyperdense shadows. In the case of cirrhosis CT examination, it may show symptoms such as reduced liver size, uneven density of the liver, and uneven surface. Cirrhotic nodules are not necessarily malignant, but may be benign, so further examination is often needed to distinguish them from liver tumors. Cirrhotic nodules should be actively cooperated with doctors to take treatment to avoid aggravation of the condition after clear diagnosis.
