What causes clavicle pain when the shoulder is forward

Pain in the clavicle when the shoulder is moved forward may be due to the following reasons: firstly, it may occur in people who often carry heavy objects on their shoulders for a long time, and also in people who often remain in a fixed position for a long time and lie down on their side. These behaviors can easily lead to excessive pressure on the middle of the clavicle, resulting in pain in the middle of the clavicle when the shoulder is slightly moved. Secondly, it is common for the ligaments around the clavicle to be strained, especially the clavicular ligament, which cannot fix the clavicle effectively, and can easily lead to obvious pain near the clavicle, accompanied by pressure and pain, and the pain worsens significantly when doing shoulder activities. Finally, clavicle pain may be seen in the case of trauma, especially when the external force acts directly on the clavicle, a fracture of the clavicle may occur. If the patient feels pain in the clavicle, and there is severe swelling of the tissues, bone rubbing sound, and limitation of movement, a clavicle fracture should be suspected, and the patient should go to the hospital for a definitive diagnosis.
