Can rabies incubation period be detected?

Rabies incubation period is unlikely to be detected. Rabies should be prevented, and once infected, the death rate is extremely high. The incubation period of rabies refers to the period of time between when the organism is infected with the rabies virus and the onset of the disease, and the rabies incubation period is usually very difficult to detect. Rabies is detected by taking a history of exposure, observing for rabies-related symptoms, and drawing cerebrospinal fluid and saliva to check for the presence of the rabies virus. Since the rabies virus is not necessarily present in the biological samples collected, the cerebrospinal fluid and saliva methods may not be effective in isolating the rabies virus and are therefore difficult to detect. Special attention should be paid to the fact that there is no effective treatment for rabies and prevention should be the mainstay.
