How to clear an abscessed cyst

Pustular cysts are generally caused by bacterial infections of the soft tissues of the skin, which can be cleaned up by topical medications, oral medications, and debridement and drainage according to the size of the pustular cyst.
1. Topical medication: small abscess cysts can be treated with topical antibiotics, such as mupirocin ointment, fusidic acid cream, etc. Cysts with a breach need to be sterilized by applying iodophor.
2. Oral medication: abscess cysts are relatively small after external drug treatment or larger cysts need oral anti-inflammatory drug treatment, such as cefuroxime, levofloxacin, metronidazole and other antibiotic treatment.
3. Cleansing and drainage: abscess cysts are relatively large and should be treated by surgical cleansing and drainage, cutting the mature abscess and releasing the pus, using hydrogen peroxide solution, sterile saline to rinse the abscess repeatedly, using oil gauze or iodine gauze to fill in the gap after the removal of pus and drainage, and then going to the hospital every day to change the medication and nursing care.
Patients with pustular cysts are advised to seek timely medical treatment under the guidance of a doctor, and the above drugs are used as prescribed by the doctor.
