The reason why some women experience pelvic pain and hip pain after childbirth is considered to be due to pelvic separation during pregnancy and labor. However, after having pelvic repair treatment, they develop hip pain. The underlying cause of maternal hip pain may be related to osteoporosis causing localized bone pain, or it may be due to lumbar disc pathology compressing the sciatic nerve, causing hip pain. In this case, it is recommended that the mother go to a regular public hospital as soon as possible for further examination and treatment after a clear diagnosis.
