The survival period of squamous carcinoma cannot be generalized, and it is related to the differentiation degree, stage, treatment method and patient’s general condition, so specific analysis is needed. First of all, the earlier squamous carcinoma is detected and treated, the better the effect will be. Even some early stage patients can be cured after active standardized treatment, and if there is no recurrence or metastasis, it basically will not affect the normal life expectancy. However, if the patient has entered the middle and late stage, suggesting that extensive metastasis has occurred, the prognosis is relatively poor and the survival time is short, generally about six months to one year. If timely and effective treatment measures are not taken to control the further progress of the disease, in serious cases, it may even lead to the death of the patient within a few months. Therefore, it is recommended that patients with squamous carcinoma must receive standardized treatment as early as possible to increase the possibility of cure, improve the prognosis and prolong the survival period. If conventional treatments are ineffective, new therapies, such as bioimmunotherapy, can also be tried under the guidance of doctors.
