Gynecologic cancer screening includes two areas: first, cervical cancer screening, which is either general screening or more comprehensive screening. Common screening is cervical smear. Nowadays, common screening is free in every region and no fee is required, but the accuracy of common cervical smear is not high, so it can only be used as extensive screening. A more comprehensive cervical cancer screening is HPV testing and cervical cytology, both of which cost about$500. The second is breast cancer screening. Breast cancer screening includes breast palpation and breast ultrasound. It is recommended that all women should have annual screening for both cancers.
