Myeloid m5 leukemia is relatively untreatable, but long-term survival is possible with aggressive treatment. Myeloid m5 leukemia, also called acute mononuclear cell leukemia, belongs to the higher degree of malignant leukemia, the mortality rate of this disease is relatively high, and the treatment cost for m5 disease is relatively expensive. Clinically, m5 is usually treated with a DA (3+7) regimen using Zoerythromycin and Cytarabine. If the patient is in remission, allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is recommended, which can prolong the patient’s survival. Overall myeloid m5 leukemia is not curable due to the fact that this leukemia is a highly malignant and poorly prognostic subtype. It is recommended that patients seek timely medical attention to improve survival time.
