Intravertebral lipoma is relatively large in size and produces symptoms of nerve compression. When the lipoma is cut out during surgical treatment and the whole symptom gradually disappears during postoperative rehabilitation, it is completely cured. However, due to the nature of the tumor, whether it is a benign tumor or a malignant tumor, there is a possibility of recurrence after surgical removal, but compared to malignant tumors, the possibility of recurrence is lower in benign tumor lesions of lipoma, and regular review after surgery is possible. If the size of the intraspinal lipoma is particularly small and there are no obvious symptoms of nerve compression, no special treatment is needed, as long as the change in size is observed by regular review and whether there are symptoms of nerve compression in the spinal canal.
