Jian Yun Tang is a traditional Chinese medicine formula composed of 30g of Astragalus Membranaceus, 15g of Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 15g of Rhizoma Zhi Materiae, 15g of Myrrh, and 5g of Sanguisorba.
In this formula, Astragalus has the effects of strengthening the spleen and tonifying the middle, benefiting the guards and consolidating the surface, and supporting the toxin and muscle growth (discharging the toxin and promoting the growth of muscle and wound healing); Zhi Mu has the effects of clearing away heat and fire, nourishing the yin and moistening the dryness (nourishing the yin and essence and clearing away the heat and evil spirits); and San Leng has the effects of breaking the blood and moving the qi, eliminating the accumulation and relieving the pain (eliminating the accumulation and stagnation and relieving the pain).
Used together, these formulae have the effects of strengthening the spleen and assisting in transportation (enhancing the function of transportation and digestion of the spleen and stomach), dispelling dampness and stopping diarrhea.
This product is used in the treatment of qi deficiency leg pain, arm pain and lumbar pain. The adverse reactions, contraindications and medication matters of this product are not clear at present.
