There are different normal values for different items of liver function at the age of 45, including protein metabolism function test items, lipid metabolism function test items, bilirubin metabolism test items, serum enzymes and so on.
1. Protein metabolism function test items. Most plasma proteins in the blood are synthesized by the liver, and checking these plasma proteins can determine the synthesis ability of the liver.
(1) Total serum protein, serum protein, and globulin. Normal adult serum total protein is 60~80g/L, clear protein is 40~55g/L, globulin is 20~30g/L, and the white globulin ratio is (1.5~2.5):1.
(2) Serum α1-antitrypsin. Normal reference value is 0.9~2.0g/L.
2. Lipid metabolism function test items. Serum cholesterol. The normal value of total cholesterol is 2.9~6.0mmol/L and cholesteryl ester is 2.34~3.38mmol/L.
3. Bilirubin metabolism test items. Total bilirubin is 3.4~17.1μmol/L in adults, conjugated bilirubin is 0~6.8μmol/L, unconjugated bilirubin is 1.7~10.2μmol/L.
4.Serum enzymes. The normal reference value of glutamic aminotransferase is 8~40U/L, glutamic alanine aminotransferase is 5~40U/L, alkaline phosphatase is 45~125U/L for men, 50~135U/L for women etc..
Abnormal liver function suggests timely consultation.
