Zollinger-ellison syndrome, also known as zollinger-ellison syndrome or gastrinoma surgery, is a peptic ulcer caused by suprapancreatic cells, which is caused by excessive secretion of gastric acid. Most of the patients are between 30 and 60 years old and are mostly male. The situation is not optimistic because 60% of gastrinomas are malignant and can metastasize, mostly to the liver, and most of them require surgery, such as tumor resection and total gastrectomy.
