Selegiline phosphate may have the adverse effect of rash. 1. Sitagliptin phosphate belongs to the dipeptidyl peptidase 4 inhibitor class of hypoglycemic drugs, which can increase the synthesis and release of insulin from pancreatic beta cells to control blood glucose. It can be used as monotherapy to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus; it can also be used in combination with metformin to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus on the basis of diet and exercise. 2. Adverse reactions to selegiline phosphate include allergic reactions, angioedema, rash, urticaria, acute pancreatitis, respiratory tract infections, gastrointestinal reactions, and so on. 3. Selegiline phosphate is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to its components, and should not be used by pregnant or lactating women, or by patients with type 1 diabetes or ketoacidosis.
