Osteomyelitis X-ray manifestations are mainly based on the different course of osteomyelitis, X-ray manifestations are also different, there may not be any manifestations in the early stage, subacute stage of bone sclerosis, late stage of the disappearance of the bone marrow cavity, the formation of dead bone. In the early stage of osteomyelitis, if it is within 10 days, usually there is no abnormal findings on X-ray, but only localized pain and high fever will appear in the clinic. If it is more than 10 days, it enters the subacute stage, and irregular sclerosis and thickening of the bone will occur. If the osteomyelitis is chronic, there will be a narrowing of the bone marrow cavity or no bone marrow cavity can be seen, and if the inflammation is repeated there will be dead bone formation. There are residual areas of bone resorption and cavity formation. X-rays of osteomyelitis are used only as an aid to medical personnel in determining the condition for appropriate treatment.
