In the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy, it is generally understood that hydrotherapy can only work on children with spastic cerebral palsy to relax and reduce higher muscle tone. Rarely is it thought that hydrotherapy can also work on children with delayed cerebral palsy. Some people who hear that hydrotherapy is being used for children with delayed cerebral palsy will find it incomprehensible and even unprofessional for the rehabilitation therapist. This paper, reproduced below, will demonstrate through experimental research that hydrotherapy is feasible as a rehabilitation tool for children with delayed cerebral palsy.
