If a woman touches a lump in the vagina, it is considered to be caused by touching the vaginal folds, or it may be caused by touching a cyst on the cervix, and it is considered to be caused by the presence of a cyst in the vagina or the growth of warts on the vaginal wall. If the examination reveals that the lumps are caused by cysts in the vagina, and their cysts are more than three centimeters, surgery is needed to peel out the cysts from the vaginal wall, and they need to be sent for pathology to rule out any other abnormal lesions. If warts are considered to be the cause of the lumps after examination, colposcopy as well as HPV testing are needed, and laser surgery is needed to treat the lumps after the diagnosis is confirmed. In a very small number of women, the abnormal lumps are considered to be caused by vaginal cancer, and a localized biopsy of the lumps is needed to confirm the diagnosis, and surgical excision is needed after confirmation of the diagnosis.
