The patient develops congenital lumbar occult cleft, which mainly refers to the patient’s dural hypoplasia and vertebral plate dysplasia. Clinically, if a patient suffers from this condition, he or she only feels persistent, chronic pain in the lumbar region, which does not affect the patient’s normal life. In terms of treatment, no special treatment can be taken, and the patient can be given regular observation and instructed to avoid overexertion and factors such as catching cold. If the patient has lumbar spine occult fracture, there are symptoms of lumbar pain, and at the same time, there is local hyperalgesia, radioactive tingling, bending difficulties and other nerve compression symptoms, symptomatic treatment should be taken. Surgical treatment should be performed, either by incision under anesthesia for spinal membrane repair or by vertebral plate repair. After surgery, the patient should also be instructed to avoid cold and overexertion, and to take oral blood-boosting drugs or oral neurotrophic drugs.
