Tobias eye drops instructions

Tobex eye drops, or tobramycin eye drops. Tobex eye drops are indicated for localized infectious inflammation of the external eye and appendages caused by sensitive bacteria. After Tobex eye drops are applied, a small amount of the drug is usually absorbed through the nasolacrimal duct and enters the systemic circulation. It is administered as drops into the eyelid, 1-2 drops at a time every 4 hours for mild to moderate infections, and 2 drops at a time every hour for severe infections. Local irritation, such as burning or swelling of the eyelids and conjunctival erythema, is occasionally seen during administration; allergic reactions are rare. It should be contraindicated in patients who are allergic to this and other aminoglycoside antibiotics. Topaz eye drops are also relatively safe antibacterial eye drops for use in newborns and children.
