Are 95% of ground glass nodules lung cancer?

There is no such thing as a ground glass nodule that is 95% lung cancer. Ground glass nodules can be seen in a variety of conditions and most are benign lesions.
Ground glass nodules in the lungs are imaging findings that can be seen in lung infections, localized bleeding, interstitial fibrosis, and lung cancer. Overall, ground-glass nodules for lung cancer are a rare finding, and are most commonly seen in infections and other benign lesions, which may gradually improve with recovery. If ground-glass nodules with unclear borders and irregular patterns persist on follow-up, then lung cancer is more likely to be considered.
The single imaging result of ground-glass nodules in the lungs cannot make a clear diagnosis, and it is recommended that the patient cooperate with the doctor in time to improve the relevant examinations and exclude the possibility of lung cancer and other malignant lesions.
