Can you see your nose on an ocular MRI?

When an eye MRI is performed, a portion of the nasal tissue can be seen, but it cannot be used to accurately diagnose diseases of the nose.
The main area of the eye is between the upper and lower eye sockets, and the upper part of the nose is located in this area, so an eye MRI can scan this part of the tissue, but the structure of the nose is not fully visualized.
Therefore if you want to check your nose for lesions, it is not recommended to do it through an eye MRI. In addition, during the eye MRI, the indexes of the visualization are different from those of the nose, so it does not clearly show the lesions in the nose, if you suspect that there are lesions in the nose, you should do a special MRI of the nose.
It is recommended that patients with abnormal imaging results should consult a doctor in a timely manner to evaluate their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
