A protruding bone behind the head may be a local skeletal lesion, such as bone cyst, osteochondroma, or it may be a local soft tissue mass that feels like a bone protrusion. Pay attention to whether the local protrusion is movable, if there is mobility, it generally belongs to soft tissue protrusion, no mobility belongs to bony protrusion. The doctor should go to the hospital in time to see the doctor, who will make a preliminary judgment with the physical examination. If soft tissue protrusion is considered, ultrasound examination can be improved. If bony protrusion is considered, local CT and three-dimensional reconstruction of bone can be improved to help judge. Soft tissue protrusion or bone cyst, osteochondroma and other protrusions can be selected for local surgical excision and routine postoperative pathological examination to exclude other lesions.
