If the patient has difficulty in tolerating the pain after tooth extraction, analgesic drugs can be applied as appropriate, commonly based on the first-order analgesic drugs for pain, such as para-aminophen, ibuprofen, aspirin and so on. These drugs have relatively good analgesic effect with less side effects. Generally, the wound is not particularly painful after extraction of simple teeth, but the more severe clinical pain is seen in the extraction of buried obstructive teeth, which involves incision, flap, debridement, root division and suturing during the operation. Therefore, the extraction is more traumatic. It is normal for patients to have physiological pain after surgery, which starts to appear gradually in the first hour after surgery, but will gradually decrease with time.
