Is it dangerous to have a high blood pressure of 150?

A systolic blood pressure of 150 mmHg is not considered high, while it is dangerous if it is a diastolic blood pressure of 150 mmHg. Generally a systolic blood pressure of ≥ 140 mmHg, or (and) a diastolic blood pressure of ≥ 90 mmHg, is considered hypertensive. If the patient has a systolic blood pressure of 150 mmHg and a diastolic blood pressure of 60-99 mmHg, the patient is considered to be in hypertension class 1. If the diastolic blood pressure is 150 mmHg, the patient is in hypertension class 3 and dangerous, regardless of the systolic blood pressure value. Emotional excitement and coffee drinking can cause a transient increase in blood pressure, which is normal, but if the patient has a long-term diastolic pressure of 150mmHg or more, it is malignant hypertension, and the patient will have headaches, blurred vision, bleeding from the fundus, kidney damage, etc., which may be life-threatening in serious cases. Because the regulation of blood pressure requires long-term persistence, not only to take antihypertensive drugs, but also need to be combined with diet, rest and other aspects, in order to gradually restore blood pressure to normal values. If you experience any discomfort during this period, you should go to the hospital for timely treatment.
