Why do cancer patients have dark faces?

Some cancer patients may show hyperpigmentation, appearing darker than others or some may have anemia, and some have darker skin, which may also cause a darker face. Some patients with hepatobiliary malignancies or with poor liver function may also have a yellow face. However, in some cases, a more severe jaundice may also cause the face to look black. After the nutrition is improved, the patient’s complexion may also be improved.
